Where My Story Has Led Me

Out of the healing God brought to my life came a stirring - an unshakable call to minister to women. My heart beats for the woman who feels like she’s too far gone, too damaged, too unseen. Because I’ve been her. And I’ve learned firsthand that when Jesus enters the story, nothing stays the same.

This calling led me back to one of the most powerful encounters in Scripture: the woman at the well in John 4.

She was a woman carrying shame. Rejected by others. Coming to the well alone, in the heat of the day, just trying to avoid the stares.

But Jesus saw her.

He met her in her brokenness - not to condemn her, but to speak life and truth over her story. He revealed who He was to her, a Samaritan woman - something He hadn’t even done for many of His own disciples yet. He acknowledged her past but invited her into something new. And that moment changed her forever.

She left her jar - the symbol of what she thought she needed - and ran back to town saying, “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did.” (John 4:29)

That moment is the heartbeat of Women at the Well Ministries.

It was born from a healed heart, from a story of redemption and restoration. Because we are all the woman at the well. We all come with bruises, burdens, and a past we’re not proud of. But when Jesus meets us there, we don’t leave carrying the same weight - we leave whole.

Women at the Well exists to create spaces for women to encounter the same healing and hope I found in Christ. It’s a place to lay down shame and pick up grace. A place where stories matter. A place where we don’t just survive - we begin to thrive.

If you’re reading this and wondering if Jesus can meet you at your well, the answer is yes. He already has. And like that woman, your story isn’t over. In fact, it might just be getting started.
